Basuki Calls Residents Evicted By IKN Development Can Choose Flats Or Tapak Houses

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) as well as Acting Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Bambang Hadimuljono said, solving the 2,086 hectare (ha) problem of land in IKN will use the Social Management scheme for Community Impact (PSDK) Plus.

The PSDK is a compensation scheme offered for communities affected by the IKN development in the form of growing planting compensation and relocation of houses.

Basuki said that the PUPR Ministry would soon build 91 residences for 91 family cards that were recorded as affected by IKN. The type of building can be in the form of flats or landed houses, aka landed houses.

"That's 91 (residentials). Yes, we told them to choose whether they want flats or landed (houses). They want to land (types) 36 or 45," Basuki said when met by reporters at his office, Friday, June 21.

He explained that later the details regarding compensation itself will be contained in the Decree (SK) of the Governor of East Kalimantan. The entire compensation budget comes from the Ministry of PUPR. Even so, Basuki did not explain whether the Governor's Decree had been issued or not.

"There will be a governor's decree later," he said

Furthermore, Basuki admitted, he continued to communicate with the Acting Governor of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) Akmal Malik to socialize the PSDK Plus scheme to the public

"Yes, we are faster and better. Keep calling with the Governor (Kaltim)," said Basuki.

According to him, communication will continue because on June 27, the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) is scheduled to socialize the PSDK Plus.

"Well, now the PSDK is just waiting for the socialization from the Governor (Kaltim). Yes, so it's PSDK Plus," he said.

One of the locations of 2,086 hectares of land that is still problematic is located on Section 6A Riko-Outer Ring Road IKN Toll Road and Section 6B Toll Section Plan Outer Ring Road-Sp. 3 ITCI near the entrance to IKN VVIP Airport.

Meanwhile, another location is the road access area to the State Mosque of IKN and the land where the flood area is controlled by the Sepaku-Semoi Dam.

With the socialization of PSDK plus which will be carried out at the end of this month, Basuki hopes that the issue of 2,086 hectares of land can be resolved next month.
