The Ministry Of Transportation Will Provide Hundreds Of Electric Buses For Transportation For The August 17 Event At IKN

The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) will provide hundreds of electric buses to support the smooth running of the August 17 event in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Transportation Adita Irawati said that her party would cooperate with the IKN Authority (OIKN) in providing transportation for ceremony participants.

"We will cooperate with the Authority, of course. Later, the plan is that an electric shuttle bus will be prepared. So it has been prepared, it has been discussed," he told reporters when met at the Parliament Complex, Wednesday, June 5.

Adita added that the number of electric buses provided would be adjusted to the number of guests later.

"That will be hundreds. We will also adjust how many units and so on with approximately how many people will come," he said.

In providing this electric bus, Adita said the Ministry of Transportation would cooperate with third parties, in this case the private sector.
