JAKARTA - Head of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) Benny Rhamdani inaugurated the Gorontalo Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Service Post (P4MI) on Jl. Prof. DR Jhon Aryo Katil, Paguyaman Village, Kec. Central City of Gorontalo on Monday, June 3.

Head of BP2MI, Benny Rhamdani, emphasized that this is a mandate of BP2MI's organization and work procedures to bring services closer to the community throughout the archipelago.

"My hope is that after we inaugurate today, immediately take action to provide services, provide one stop services. This is part of our public services to the people of Gorontalo Province," said Benny at the Gorontalo P4MI Office.

Benny also emphasized the importance of establishing good relations with the press which has a key role in socializing and disseminating the placement and protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers.

"They are field combat troops that we can cooperate with and invite in conducting campaigns and promotions that in the midst of the job crisis and high unemployment, there are very open opportunities for foreign work," he said.

Head of the Human Resources and Organization Bureau of BP2MI, Yana Anusasana, said that she is currently proposing a revision of BP2MI Regulation Number 6 of 2022 concerning Organizations and Work Procedures in the Environment to the Kemenpan RB and has proposed that P4MI Jambi become BP3MI Jambi.

"So with the establishment of the institution, the BP2MI service office is currently spread across 32 of the 38 provinces and there are 24 P4MI throughout Indonesia after this was inaugurated," said Yana in front of the Head of the Gorontalo Regency Manpower Office, Wardoyo Pongoliu, and representatives of the Regency/City Manpower Office throughout the Gorontalo Province.
