Bawaslu Pati Falls 406 PKD To Monitor Data Update Of 2024 Pilkada Voters

PATI - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Pati Regency, Central Java, deployed 406 election supervisors (panwaslu) of kelurahan/villages to participate in supervising the stages of updating voter data by voter data updating officers (pantarih) for the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

"A total of 406 sub-district/village (PKD) were inaugurated simultaneously in each sub-district panwaslu, as well as providing briefing related to the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada," said Head of Bawaslu, Pati Supriyanto Regency, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, June 2.

Of that number of PKDs, he said, will serve in 406 villages/kelurahan in Pati Regency.

For the briefing, it is carried out directly by their respective sub-district panwaslu.

After the inauguration and provision of PKD, his party instructed them to coordinate and communicate with relevant stakeholders within the village government, including establishing communication with local PPS, babinsa, and babinkamtibmas.

"Because the closest task waiting is to supervise the stages of updating voter data," he said.

The next steps that need to be monitored are matching and research (collite) of voter data and preparing a temporary voter list (DPS), then improving DPS, and compiling a permanent voter list (DPT).

"This is not an easy task for PKD friends because referring to the provisions for the number of polling stations (TPS) the maximum limit is different from elections. The largest number of voters in TPS is limited," he said.

If you refer to the KPU regulations related to the preparation of the voter list, he said, the concept developed by the voter technical organizers is more than 400 people at one polling station. So, two parties have been prepared.

"In the field in one village, there are a number of parties, all of which are under the supervision of PKD. For that, we advise to immediately build a synergy of all stakeholders, including community leaders and religious leaders, so that they can continue synergy for the smooth running of PKD duties and authorities in the village," he said.
