Telan Rp318 Billion, Ini Proyek HK Di Kejagung Yang Materialnya Jatuh Di Line MRT Jakarta

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK is currently working on a construction project for the Junior Attorney General's Building for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) worth IDR 318 billion. This project is the material that falls on the MRT Jakarta route.

This was confirmed by the EVP Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Adjib Al Hakim when contacted by VOI, in Jakarta, Thursday, May 30.

"That's right (the Jampidsus Building construction project)," said Adjib.

Quoted from the company's official website, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) won the contract for the Jampidsus building renovation project in early 2024.

The project contract was signed by EVP of the Building Division, Nyoman Endi together with the Commitment Making Officer of the Attorney General's Office, Reinhard Theo S. Manurung and witnessed by the Director of Operations II, Gunadi and the Head of the General Bureau of the Attorney General's Office, Yudi Indra Gunawan at the Main Building of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office, in South Jakarta on Friday, January 26, 2024.

At that time, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Hutama Karya's Corporate Secretary, Tjahjo Purnomo said the Rp318 billion project was carried out in the context of rejuvenation of buildings covering structural, architectural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) and landscape work for 240 calendar days.

"This project is targeted for completion in September 2024," said Tjahjo, quoted on Thursday, May 30.

Tjahjo also said the building would be in the form of an asymmetric circle and the design would resemble a sword tear which is a symbol of Jampidsus.

Furthermore, Tjahjo said that in working on this project, the field team will maximize their work in order to meet the functionality standards with a more modern building display and completion according to the target.

"The completion of this development contract will increase and reinforce Hutama Karya's portfolio in building building building projects in the Jakarta area," he said.

As previously reported, heavy equipment at the construction activity of the Attorney General's Office building on Jalan Panglima Polim, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta fell. The material for the construction hit the MRT Jakarta railroad line.

The incident occurred at around 16.40 WIB and there were no casualties. However, MRT was forced to temporarily stop the operation of the entire train series.

PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK apologized for the heavy equipment falling of the RI Attorney General's Building project on public transportation access, causing the Jakarta MRT operation to be temporarily suspended.

EVP Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Adjib Al Hakim said that after the incident his party immediately carried out an investigation related to the fall of the heavy equipment.

"We apologize and deeply regret the incident," he said in an official statement, Thursday, May 30.

Adjib also said that his party was coordinating with the Jakarta MRT to clean the scene so that the Jakarta MRT service could function again.

"PT Hutama Karya (Persero) will continue to inform the latest updates on handling at the scene at the first opportunity through Hutama Karya's social media account," he said.
