Negara Rugi Rp371 Miliar Karena Korupsi Indofarma, Ini Penyebabnya

JAKARTA - Special Staff to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Arya Sinulingga opened up about the losses that occurred in Indofarma due to indications of corruption in Indofarma's subsidiary, namely PT Indofarma Global Medika (IGM).

Previously, the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) revealed that there was a state loss of up to Rp371.83 billion due to financial irregularities at PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF).

"Actually, Indofarma's problem is in its subsidiary, Indofarma Global Medika. Indofarma Global Medika is a subsidiary of Indofarma whose job is to distribute Indofarma products, which sell Indofarma's products," Arya said in a virtual press conference, Tuesday, May 21.

However, Arya continued after selling products made by Indofarma, IGM did not deposit the money from the sale to the parent company.

"So their bills, so for example Indofarma Global Medika has not yet asked, it turns out that the bill has been collected, the bill has been entered, but he did not give it to Indofarma. That's where the big problem is from Indofarma," said Arya.

Furthermore, Arya also said that based on the results of an internal audit, there was a fund of IDR 470 billion that IGM did not deposit to Indofarma.

"This fund was not deposited. Even though after checking, yesterday when an internal audit was carried out by Indofarma's friends, when asked IGM whether the bill had also been billed to third parties, the party distributed by this IGM, turned out to be it," he said.

Arya also revealed that as long as Indofarma faced a loss condition and a lawsuit to postpone debt payment obligations (PKPU), PT Bio Farma (Persero) as Indofarma's parent bears the obligation to pay Indofarma employee wages.

"So it's been months since Biofarma has the responsibility of Indofarma's salary as its parent," he explained.
