Alfamidi Earns Revenue Of IDR 4.79 Trillion In The First Quarter Of 2024

JAKARTA - Alfamidi retail network manager, PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI) noted that the company's consolidated net income and subsidiaries grew by 18.65 percent from IDR 4.04 trillion in the first quarter of 2023 to IDR 4.79 trillion in 2024.

Finance Director of PT Midi Utama Indonesia Suantopo, in Tangerang, Banten, Thursday, said that the company and its subsidiaries also posted a profit for the first quarter of 2024 consolidated period of IDR 158.57 billion, an increase of 34.94 percent compared to the first quarter of 2023 of IDR 117.51 billion.

"PT Midi Utama Indonesia noted that the performance achievements during 2023 to the 2024 quarter are very positive. We are optimistic that in the future it will increase," said Suantopo at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company Annual (AGMS), at the Head Office of Alfa Tower Tangerang, quoted from Antara, Friday 17 May.

He also said that until March 2024 there were 2,958 outlets, this number had an increase compared to the latest data in December 2023, which was 2,906 outlets.

As for the details of the outlets that are now active, including 2,208 Alfamidi outlets, 49 Alfamidi Super outlets, and eight Midi fresh outlets. Meanwhile, the Lawson convenience store outlets managed by the child entity amounted to 693 outlets," he also said.

He said the company's performance throughout 2024 was more focused on a more synergistic growth increase strategy, especially in anticipating a surge in people's spending activities in line with the easing of the pandemic period.

The company's success in implementing its business strategy in 2023 can be proven through the achievement of encouraging revenue and sales profit growth.

This can be realized thanks to the solid cooperation of the team in all aspects while still upholding the integrity, persistence, innovation and ability of the company in adapting according to economic conditions and changes in consumer spending patterns.

"For the 2024 target, the company targets to open 200 Alfamidi outlets throughout Indonesia. With the main target of this year's market is outside Java," he said.

Meanwhile, for 2023, the company posted a consolidated net income growth of 11.06 percent. The company's profitability is also getting better in 2023 compared to the previous year.

"The dividend distribution of 2023's net profit of IDR 155.47 billion will be carried out on June 13, 2024, with a value of IDR 4.65 per share," he also said.
