Aster Kasdam XIV/Hasanuddin Colonel Eko Saptono said this assistance could be useful and help ease the burden on people affected by natural disasters.

Eko added that this natural disaster claimed 14 people. With 1,385 families affected, and 115 people displaced in several mosques and relatives' houses. 1,867 houses were affected, 103 housing units were heavily damaged.

Meanwhile, 42 housing units were washed away, 4 road points were affected, 1 bridge unit was affected, 14 two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles were affected, as well as rice fields and affected residents' plantations.

According to Irwan, assistance for flood and landslide disaster victims is in the form of cash amounting to Rp200 million which will be distributed through Kodam XIV/Hasanuddin Makassar.

"Hopefully this assistance can help relieve victims who experience disasters, and those affected by disasters will be given strength with what they have just experienced," explained Irwan.
