BLI Joins Seminar Technology In Supply Chain, Sharing Knowledge Of Logistics Technology Development

JAKARTA - BGR Logistics Indonesia (BLI) one of the members of ID FOOD participated in the Seminar Technology In Supply Chain which took place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the JS Luwansa Hotel, Jakarta. This annual event was organized by Supply Chain Indonesia, along with the Supply Chain Expo Indonesia exhibition which was attended by various logistics companies both public and private.

The event was attended by the Head of the DKI Jakarta BLI Branch, Farhan Isma, CEO of Supply Chain Indonesia (SCI) Setijadi, and the Expert Council of the Indonesian Logistics Association, Nofrisel, as well as several top management & practitioners of logistics companies, 3PL, FMCG and government institutions.

BLI also sent several people to fill competitions in the logistics sector, including Kadept Per warehousing Pupuk, Dharma Anurah, Kadept Pemasaran & Sales of Telko Services, Energy and Mineral, Andi Yulman, as well as the Sea Distribution and Freight Forwading team, Yudha Prasetya.

"This event is very important for us logistics actors, because of the sharing of knowledge about the development, opportunities, and challenges of implementing digital technology in the logistics industry," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BLI Branch, Farhan Isma, in a written statement, Monday, May 13.

Farhan explained that this seminar also highlighted the important role of information technology in creating business competitiveness in the industrial era 4.0, besides also discussing roles in building an integrated and connected supply chain ecosystem.

In addition to seminars, events are interspersed with a series of exhibitions with the theme of digital logistics trends.

Setijadi, as CEO of Supply Chain Indonesia (SCI) added, SCI will encourage industry, especially logistics service provider companies to implement Technology In Supply Chain. "Implementation can be done, especially in the two main logistics activities, namely warehousing and transportation," he said.

Farhan added that BLI's participation in the seminar was BLI's commitment as a digital logistics company to realize innovation and increase competitiveness. Meanwhile, participating in the exhibition is an event for BLI to show itself to be better known by the wider community.
