The Ministry Of PUPR Will Operate Contactless Toll Roads (MLFF) In Bali, The Target Is October 2024

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said his party would operate the contactless non-cash toll road payment system or Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF) in 2024 on the Bali Mandara Toll Road.

Basuki said the MLFF implementation would begin before October this year.

However, the MLFF scheme itself will not be fully operated. Instead, it will only operate on one substation on the Bali Mandara Toll Road. Thus, the term is changed to Single Lane Free Flow (SLFF).

"The schedule (schedule) is still fixed. The SLFF will definitely be implemented before October," Basuki said when met by reporters at his office, Friday, April 26.

The limited application of the contactless system is carried out to reduce the possibility of losses that will be borne by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT).

For the operation of the toll payment system, said Basuki, his party had sent four representatives to meet with the Hungarian Government.

Thus, there is an agreement that the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) will be involved in the MLFF operation.

"I, right, sent 4 people to Hungary. They have agreed directly with the Hungarian government. There have been talks here, later we will involve BUJT in this SLFF," he said.

For your information, the Bali Mandara Toll Road itself is managed by PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) through its subsidiary, PT Jasamarga Bali Tol (JBT).
