JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono inspected the construction of the Bayung-Lencir-Tempino Section 3 Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) Project, directed by PT Hutama Karya (Persero).

During his visit, Basuki appreciated the performance of Hutama Karya and other contractors in the 33-kilometer (km) project being worked on. This project is targeted to be completed in July 2024 so that it can be partially inaugurated.

"The first toll road in Jambi will open new connectivity for the provincial box, namely South Sumatra with Jambi so that it can complete the backbone of the JTTS that has been formed," he said.

In the project, which was worked on with the operating cooperation scheme (KSO) with PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (Wijaya Karya) and PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) (Brantas Abipraya) (KSOHK-Wika-BAP) for 15.47 km.
