The circulation of money during the Muaro Padang People's Festival which was centered in the Kota Tua Padang area, for three days 19-21 April 2024 reached Rp6.1 billion.

Padang Mayor Hendri Septa said based on information from the Economic Section of the Padang City Secretariat, the circulation of Rp6.1 billion was felt directly by the public and participants.

He detailed that the circulation of money included economic activity at the event location with a value of Rp. 1.27 billion and the circulation of money supporting the event with a value of Rp. 4.83 billion.

Hendri said that one of the goals of the Muaro Padang People's Festival was to revive the community's economy, including in the hotel, restaurant, service and others sectors in Padang City.

The Muaro Padang People's Festival which took place from 19-21 April 2024 carries the theme "Tempo Doeloe".
