Pertalite To Pertamax Turbo Consumption In Aceh During Lebaran Homecoming Increases 75 Percent

BANDA ACEH - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra (Sumbagut) noted that fuel consumption during the Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah homecoming in Aceh Province for gasoline products (Pertalite, Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo) rose 75 percent.

Area Manager Comm, Rel & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Susanto August Satria contacted in Banda Aceh, Friday said the average consumption of gasoline fuel (Pertalite, Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo) on D-1 and D-2 Idul Fitri 2024 was 3,222 kiloliters per day or increased from normal consumption in January 2024 by 1,840 KL per day.

"When compared to the average consumption of gasoline products on D-1 and D-2 Eid al-Fitr 2024, it has increased by 6 percent from D-1 and D-2 Idul Fitri 2023, which is 3,036 KL per day to 3,222 KL per day," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 19.

Meanwhile, consumption of gasoil products (Biosolar, Dex Series) decreased 2.9 percent to 847 KL per day compared to last year's 873 KL per day.

Especially for Pertalite, he continued, when compared to the average fuel consumption in January 2024, consumption increased by 66 percent from 1,489 KL per day to 2,478 KL per day.

Meanwhile, gasoil consumption decreased by 25 percent from the daily average or 1,131 KL per day to 857 KL per day.

"The decrease in gasoil consumption is due to restrictions on industrial transportation or industrial activity holidays in Aceh," he said.

Previously, Pertamina Patra Niaga had formed the Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr Task Force (Rafi) 2024.

The task force is tasked with ensuring that the stock and energy distribution in Aceh are safe during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1445 H.
