The Residential Level Of The HIG Network Hotel Grows 15 Percent On The 2024 Eid Holiday

JAKARTA - PT Hotel Indonesia Group (HIG) as a subsidiary of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour or InJourney Hospitality noted that there was a growth in the number of occupancy rates on the Eid Al-Fitr 2024 holiday by 15 percent compared to the same period last year.

Director of Operations & Portfolio Business HIN M. Ariadevi Hermaini conveyed that Eid Al-Fitr 1445 H holiday is an important moment for Indonesians to gather with their families and carry out religious traditions. This includes the hotel industry where it recorded a significant increase in hotel room occupancy rates.

Ariadevi said that the Javanese HIGH region network hotel became the leading for residential levels during the long Eid al-Fitr holiday. The highest occupancy rate for the Javanese HIGH region hotel network is Typical Pekalongan at 96 percent.

"Furthermore, namely Inna Tretes with a occupancy rate of 95 percent and The Manohara Yogyakarta Hotel and Badminton Boutique Hotel Yogyakarta with 92 percent. These hotels show residential growth during the period from 10 to 14 April 2024," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, March 16.

The next highest occupancy rate is the Bali region. Where the highest occupancy rate is Inna Sindhu Beach at 95 percent, then Truntum Kuta with a occupancy rate of 91 percent and Damage Nusa Dua by 81 percent.

"The HIG region Bali network hotel shows occupancy rate growth of 9 percent during the long holiday period of Eid al-Fitr in 2024 compared to 2023," he explained.

Ariadvi also said that the hotel's housing level was also felt by the HIG Region Sumatra network where the highest occupancy rate was, namely the Parapat Hotel, which was 96 percent.

A similar thing also happened in the Kalimantan and Sulawesi regions where the occupancy rate grew by 24 percent compared to the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2023 with a highest occupancy rate, namely the Yulia Hotel Gorontalo. The occupancy rate of this 3-star hotel is 80 percent during the period from 10 to 14 April 2024," he explained.

Ariadevi is also grateful that this year's Eid holiday has had a positive impact on increasing occupancy in HIG network hotels

"This increase in occupancy is driven by an increase in the number of tourist visits, various attractive promos, service improvements and facilities available in each hotel unit so that they are able to attract tourists to spend the Eid holiday at HIG network hotels," he said.
