Seller Fee Comparison At Shopee, Tokopedia, And Lazada In 2024

JAKARTA - Following Shopee and Lazada, which have raised sales service costs by the end of 2023, Tokopedia announced that it plans to adjust tariffs to sellers or sellers on its platform as of May 1, 2024.

Quoted from the Seller Tokopedia page, Tuesday, April 16, the adjustment applies to sellers or sellers with a Power Merchant membership level, Power Merchant Pro. Tokopedia charges the amount of service costs that sellers have to pay varying from 2 percent to 6.5 percent of the product price sold.

At the end of last year, Shopee had raised the cost of selling admins in its stalls or sellers. Quoting from Shopee's official website, the increase in admins will apply to non-Star or Star+ category sellers. The amount of costs charged to sellers starts from 3.5 percent to 8.5 percent. Lazada also followed by announcing an increase in mid-December.

Shopee imposed an increase in the cost of admin selling Star and Star + levels as follows:

Category A: 6.5 percent Of Category B: 5.5 percent of Category C: 5.5 percent of Category C: 5.5 percent of Category D: 4 percent of Category E: 4 percent

Meanwhile, Lazada imposed an increase in the cost of selling admins to:

Category A: 6 percent Of Category B: 5 percent Of Category C: 5 percent of Category C: 5 percent of Category D: 3.5 percent of Category E: 3.5 percent
