There Are 58,702 Functional Toll Road Vehicles For The Colomadu-Ngawen Section During The 2024 Homecoming Flow

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) noted, as many as 58,702 vehicles passed the functional lane of the Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Kulonprogo (Jogja-Solo) Toll Road for the Colomadu-Ngawen (Klaten) section during the 2024 Eid homecoming flow. "This figure is the number of vehicles passing through the functional lane for 6 (six) days, namely on 5-11 April 2024 which operates in one direction from GT Colomadu (Trans Java Toll Road) to Boyolali and/or Kartasura and to Klaten and/or Yogyakarta," said Jasa Marga Marketing & Communication Department Head Faiza Riani in an official statement received by VOI, Friday, April 12. The total 6-day vehicles consist of 40,965 vehicles heading to Exit Ngawen (Klaten) and 17,737 vehicles to Exit Ceper Karanganom. Meanwhile, the highest traffic volume (traffic) was recorded on D-3 Lebaran 2024, namely the period April 7, 2024, with a total of 6,924 vehicles through Exit Ngawen (Klaten) which is still the favorite exit for road users. Meanwhile, for Exit Ceper Karanganom there were 2,504 vehicles. As for supporting the 2024 Lebaran backflow, Jasa Marga will again operate the functional toll road in one direction from Ngawen to Colomadu on 12-15 April 2024 starting at 06.00-17.00 WIB. During this period, the functional route for the Jogja-Solo Toll Road will operate in one direction from Ngawen (Klaten)/GT Karanganom access to GT Banyudono (for Boyolali and/or Kartasura) and GT Colomadu (for the purpose of the Trans Java Toll Road). Sama dengan periode mudik, untuk pengguna jalan dari Jalan Raya Solo-Semarang yang menuju Jalan Tol Trans Jawa juga dialihkan masuk melalui GT Banyudono untuk melanjutkan perjalanan melalui GT Colomadu. Meanwhile, beyond the specified date and time of implementation of the functional path, the traffic flow to and from GT Colomadu returns to normal using existing access. With this 22 kilometer (km) route, Faiza hopes that his party can provide more optimal service to the community because this functional route can be an alternative route to avoid traffic congestion that often occurs in the Kartasura Delanggu Monument and Solo-Yogyakarta Highways. By going through this functional route, the public does not need to pass 15 APILL Light Points (Traffic Signer Equipment) and travel time from Klaten to Toll Road Access (GT) Colomadu only 25 minutes when compared to national roads.

"We are optimistic that this functional toll road can also support the backflow of travelers or tourists who want to return to their respective hometowns," he added.
