Regarding PTDI Employees Who Have Not Received Salaries, Deputy Minister Of SOEs: It's Over

Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (Wamen BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo spoke up regarding the protests by employees of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) who claimed not to have received salaries and holiday allowances (THR).

The man who is familiarly called Tiko said that the company has followed up employee protests. He also said that there had been a meeting between the company's management and employees.

"(The salary and THR) are finished, they are finished," he said when met at the Monas area, Jakarta, Friday, April 5.

Tiko also said that the problem of late salary payments and THR was due to problems with the projects carried out by PTDI so that they had an impact on the company's finances.

"It's a delay because there are projects that don't air. But this has been resolved," he explained.

Previously, it was reported that PTDI workers demanded payment of salaries and THR which had not been paid in full by the company. Demonstrations and strikes were held in the work environment on Tuesday, April 2.

PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan said that the obligation had been paid. PTDI management considers the action to be a form of conveying the aspirations of employees to management. Today, the PTDI board of directors has also held a meeting with all employees.

"The THR payment, which had previously been paid since yesterday afternoon, April 2, has been completely completed today," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, April 3.

Gita said that this was in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower Number 6 of 2016 concerning THR for workers/laborers in companies stating that THR must be paid by Entrepreneurs no later than seven days before Religious Holidays.

"Meanwhile, the salary for March 2024 is planned to be paid on Friday, April 5, 2024," he explained.

Furthermore, he explained that the management and employees of PTDI agreed to increase openness and communication within the company's internal environment.

"As well as being committed that the Company's progress is a top priority," he said.
