Asking For Repairs As Soon As Possible The Bocimi Toll Road, Deputy Minister Of SOEs: Don't Also Hazard

Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (Wamen BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo requested that PT Waskita Karya (Persero) immediately repair the Bogor-Ciawai-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road which collapsed a few days ago.

For your information, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) is a state-owned company that works on the Bocimi Toll Road project. Waskita also has a 77 percent stake in the Bocimi Toll Road, through its subsidiary PT Waskita Toll Road at PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT).

Furthermore, Tiko, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo's nickname, said that the repair of the sections affected by the landslide should not take long.

"We ask (Waskita Karya to be mani) to improve its skills. So that it can be functional in Lebaran, while first, yes, for the time being," he said when met in the Monas area, Jakarta, Friday, April 5.

Although asking for improvements to be made, Tiko emphasized that the work must still pay attention to the security aspect so as not to endanger users later.

"But the important thing is to be safe too, don't be dangerous later," he said.

Tiko also explained that the landslide that occurred on the Bocimi Toll Road was not caused by human factors but nature.

"It's a natural condition, the landslide is not due to humans," he said.

For your information, the landslide on the Bocimi KM 64-600 Toll Road occurred on April 3, at around 20.00 WIB after heavy rains hit the area. As a result of the incident, a minibus fell into a landslide road.

PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) said the landslide that occurred on the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road KM 64, Ciambar District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, was caused by water erosion during heavy rains on Wednesday, April 3.

"It is suspected that the landslide occurred due to water bursts due to heavy rain around the location. Currently, the management of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Waskita Toll Road are conducting a site review to ensure handling and see the condition of the entire Bocimi Toll Road section," said PT Waskita Toll Road Corporate Secretary Alex Siwu.
