A Total Of 103,885 Vehicles Leave Jakarta On D-7 Lebaran 2024

JAKARTA - Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division (JMT) noted that there was an increase in traffic volume (traffic) on D-7 Idulfitri 1445 Hijri/2024 at the main 5 Toll Gates (GT) of the Jabotabek area toll road.

"The total number of vehicles leaving Jakarta via Soekarno-Hatta Airport is 103,885 vehicles or 6.88 percent higher than the normal daily traffic volume of 97,194 vehicles," said Marketing and Communication Department Head of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Panji Satriya in a written statement, Thursday, April 4.

The traffic is distributed through two Toll Gates (GT) with the following details:

1. GT Cengkareng Toll Road Prof. Dr. Sedyatmo

The increase in the volume of traffic transactions at GT Cengkareng was 5.27 percent or 76.480 vehicles. This figure is an increase when compared to the normal daily traffic of 72.654 vehicles.

2. GT Main Object 2 Kunciran-Cengkareng Toll Road

There was an increase in the volume of traffic on GT Benda Utama 2, reaching 27,405 vehicles or an increase of 11,67 percent. This number increases when compared to normal daily traffic which reached 24,540 vehicles.

Meanwhile, there was also an increase in the volume of vehicles leaving Jabodetabek to the south via the Cipularang and Padaleunyi Toll Roads.

The distribution of traffic to West Java is as follows:

1. GT Cileunyi Padaleunyi Toll Road

Jasa Marga noted, as many as 29,446 vehicles left for the Rancaekek, Garut, Sumedang and surrounding areas through GT Cileunyi.

"The transaction traffic volume at GT Cileunyi increased by 15.59 percent compared to normal daily traffic of 25,474 vehicles," he said.

Meanwhile, the volume of traffic from the opposite direction or heading towards Bandung/Jakarta through GT Cileunyi was recorded at 31,531 vehicles or 15.26 percent higher than normal traffic of 27,356 vehicles.

2. GT Pasteur Cipularang Toll Road

Meanwhile, the volume of traffic on GT Pasteur (exit) towards Bandung was recorded to have penetrated 28,697 vehicles or an increase of 4.18 percent compared to normal traffic of 27,545.

"And the volume of traffic leaving the city of Bandung through GT Pasteur (entrance) was recorded at 34,965 vehicles or 6.53 percent higher than normal traffic of 32,821 vehicles," he explained.

Jasa Marga appealed to the public to prepare themselves before traveling by ensuring that they and their vehicles are in top condition, paying attention to fuel adequacy and e-toll balances for travel convenience.

"We also appeal to road users to only use the same e-toll when tapping at incoming toll gates and tapping at exit toll gates on toll roads with closed transaction systems, such as the Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads and the JORR II Toll Road," he added.
