JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) added 12 trips for the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB)

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, said the additional trip began today, Wednesday, April 3. With this addition, KCIC operates 52 train trips per day.

"Well, we will make additional trips starting from April 3 to April 18, where per day for Fast Trains we will be 52 trains," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 3.

Furthermore, Eva said, the increase in the number of train trips could be done dynamically. Eva also said KCIC has 11 series of passenger trains ready to operate.

"So that at any time it is needed to add because we see this demand is high, tickets are almost sold out, we can increase the number of trips," he said.

Eva predicts that the peak increase inPORT passengers will occur starting Friday, April 5. Where it is also predicted that there will be an increase in passengers of up to 30 percent compared to normal days.

"Maybe it can reach 30 percent for this Eid transportation moment," said Eva.

Furthermore, Eva explained that the train occupancy in the Lebaran transportation period has reached 90 percent. This number will still increase, considering that there are still many people who will buy tickets for the Fast Train right at the station or go show.

"And if we look at the total order up to now, the highest is for the trains that have been ordered, the occupancy has reached almost 90 percent," he explained.
