OJK Reveals 123 Pipelines Reach Rp59.68 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) revealed that there are still 123 public offering pipelines with an estimated funding value of IDR 59.68 trillion.

Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Chief Executive of the Capital Market Supervisory, Derivative Finance and Carbon Exchange, Inarno Djajadi conveyed that the enthusiasm for raising funds can be seen from the public offering that has generated Rp48 trillion in funds, with 15 new issuers until March 28, 2024.

"Meanwhile, there are still 123 public offering pipelines with an estimated indicative value of Rp59.68 trillion," he explained at the OJK Monthly Board of Commissioners Meeting, Monday, April 2, 2024.

As for the fundraising at the Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) which is an alternative funding for SMEs, since the implementation of the SCF provisions until March 28, 2024, there have been 17 organizers who have obtained permits from the OJK with 517 publishers, 170,923 investors, and the total funds raised are IDR 1.09 trillion.

Meanwhile, the carbon exchange since its launch from September 26, 2023 to March 28, 2024 has accommodated 53 service users, who received a volume permit of 571 thousand tons of equivalent CO2 and accumulated transactions of Rp35.30 billion, with a transaction value of 19.76 percent in the negotiation market, and 52 percent in the auction market.

In the future, Inarno said that the potential for the Carbon Exchange is still very large considering that there are 3,546 registrants registered in the National System for Climate Change Control (SRN PPI) and the high potential for carbon units to be offered.
