PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Operational Area (Daop) Surabaya recorded an increase in the number of train passengers by 60 percent, ahead of the long holiday at the commemoration of Isa Almasih's death on March 29, 2024.

KAI Daop 8 Surabaya Public Relations Manager Luqman Arif said the number of passengers departing from Malang Station reached 1,893 customers, more than the same day the previous week.
