Waskita's Two Toll Roads Get IDR 12.5 Trillion PMN Injections

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Waskita Karya Muhammad Hanugroho revealed that his party received an injection of State Equity Participation (PMN) of IDR 12.5 trillion.

This PMN is obtained through Hutama Karya.

The injection of funds is used to finance two toll roads that are included in the National Strategic Project (PSN). The details are Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung (Kapalbetung) worth IDR 10 trillion and Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) IDR 2.5 trillion.

"Previously, the government's support for the Waskita toll road was approved by PMN through Hutama Karya Rp. 12.5 trillion in accordance with the 2024 State Budget Law," he explained in a Working Meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 19.

On January 25, PT Waskita Karya has divested shares of the Bocimi Toll Road to PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero).

Atas divestasi itu, Hanugroho mengatakan PMN untuk Tol Bocimi telah dialihkan untuk Tol Kapalbetung.

Thus, continued Hanugroho, the total PMN of IDR 12.5 trillion will be distributed to the toll roads that are part of the Trans Sumatra (JTTS) Toll Road.

"For the rest of the segment, we on a business-to-business basis will complete or finance it by PT SMI. Previously, the allocation of IDR 2.5 trillion for Bocimi would be diverted to Kapalbetung, this did not change the total allocation of PMN approved by the government," he said.

Meanwhile, for the Shipbetung Toll Road, Waskita Karya through Waskita Sriwijaya Tol has also proposed a separation of the scope of PPJT into two sections, namely from Kayu Agung-Palembang (Kapal) and Palembang-Betung (Paltung).

"Currently, the separation of the PPJT is being processed by Jamdatun," he explained.
