Pertamina Patra Niaga Ensures Safe Fuel And LPG Stock During Ramadan 2024

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku ensures that the stock of fuel and LPG is safe during Ramadan until Eid 2024.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku Communication and CSR Manager Area, Edi Mangun, said that until now the availability of fuel and LPG stocks is in a safe condition, as well as distribution throughout Papua and Maluku is observed to be normal.

"We guarantee that the distribution of fuel and LPG remains evenly distributed for the people of Papua and Maluku," he said in Ambon, Maluku, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, March 13.

Pertamina has also prepared anticipation of increasing community needs during Ramadan until Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri.

Based on data as of March 12, 2024, the security of fuel and LPG stocks is in a safe condition with the following details, kerosene products are above 26 days, Avtur 36 days, Biosolar 18 days, Pertalite 25 days, Pertamax 21 days, Pertamina Dex 42 days, and LPG 127 days.

"People don't need to worry, fuel stocks are safe, we always ensure that energy distribution runs smoothly and safely," said Edi.

He stated that if it was still needed, his party would increase the stock and distribution of fuel and LPG according to the needs of the community.

For subsidized fuel and assignment products, distribution will be adjusted to the quota set by the government through the 2024 Ramadan and Eid Task Force (RaFI) Team.

Edi also appealed to the public to continue to use quality fuel in accordance with vehicle specifications.

"For those who have the right to use subsidies, we advise the public to be able to register vehicles through the Proper Subsidy program so that the level of fraud and misuse of subsidized fuel can be reduced," he explained.

He added that in carrying out the distribution of fuel and LPG throughout the Papua and Maluku regions, Pertamina is ready to synergize with local governments and law enforcement officials in supervising and controlling the community as well as securing distribution during Ramadan.

"Together with the local government and security forces, we will do our best to ensure distribution reaches the community. This synergy is our step to continue to distribute fuel and LPG smoothly and can be accepted by the whole community," said Edi.
