Pertamina Records Use Of TKDN Up To IDR 374 Trillion

JAKARTA - Throughout 2023 Pertamina Group will become the largest BUMN contributor to the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) which contributes up to 50 percent of the total TKDN BUMN.

TKDN BUMN in 2023 reached around Rp800 trillion, while TKDN Pertamina Group was able to reach Rp374 trillion. For this extraordinary achievement, Pertamina was awarded the 2024 Domestic Product Use Award for the State-Owned Enterprise Category from the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) of the Republic of Indonesia.

Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati stated that TKDN's achievements are clear evidence of Pertamina's commitment to optimizing the use of domestic goods and services which is expected to improve the national economy.

"So Pertamina's contribution in TKDN is very large. This is Pertamina's commitment not only to achieve targets, but we really want to continue to add domestic industry players to be more active in filling the needs of goods and services for the energy industry in particular," said Nicke, quoted on Friday, March 8.

According to Nicke, Pertamina's commitment to TKDN is also realized by making special functions related to TKDN. Starting from the planning, monitoring to verification stage. Until now Pertamina has carried out as many as 6,500 transactions with a total contract of Rp374 trillion.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan who was also present at the same event expressed his appreciation to all parties who have supported and implemented the use of domestic products.

Luhut also appreciated Pertamina for contributing greatly in implementing the use of domestic products. "I think Pertamina has now become more patented, and fortunately it is getting more and more efficient, she (Pertamina) must dare to compete with others," said Luhut.

Luhut also advised all relevant parties to continue to implement the use of domestic products related to their business activities.

"Let's continue the success story. I hope we all have to be proud to be Indonesians," he explained.

Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita added that in the implementation of the 2024 business matching, the total commitment to using domestic products was IDR 1,428.25 trillion. With the total commitment of the Ministry, Institutions and Local Governments of IDR 585.69 trillion and the total commitment of SOEs of IDR 842.56 trillion. According to him, this figure is higher than last year, which is IDR 1,157 trillion.

In order to support the purchase of domestic products in the procurement of goods and services, he continued, the Government continues to make innovations and acceleration steps.

"The government through the Ministry of Industry has digitized TKDN certification which guarantees a fast, accurate, and accountable certification process," said Agus.

Agus further said that every IDR 400 trillion in goods and services expenditures derived from the Domestic Product Use Increase Program (P3DN) would strengthen Indonesia's economic growth by 1.8 percent.

"We believe that all of that can bring a multiplier effect and value added and will accelerate the deepening and deployment and equitable program of the national industrial sector," said Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita.
