Attending The G20, Sri Mulyani The Value Of The Indonesian Economy Is Similar To Brazil

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati expressed that there was an economic similarity between Indonesia and Brazil as seen from the economy of the two countries that grew strongly after the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Brazil turns out to have some similarities to Indonesia. Starting from its strong economy which recovered after the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, its economic growth is still positive, as well as the trend of unemployment rate which tends to decline. Currently, Brazil is included in the world's 10 largest economies," he wrote on his Instagram account @smindrawati, Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

This was expressed when he had just arrived in Sao Paulo, Brazil to attend the G20 meeting. For information, the G20 Meeting of Ministers of Finance and Governors of the Central Bank (FMCBG) in Brazil will be held on February 28-29, 2024.

Sri Mulyani expressed that she would continue to provide reports on the results of her G20 meeting, especially regarding global economic and financial developments, which according to her in dynamic conditions and overshadowed by downside risk or risk of weakening.

Sri Mulyani said that the Meeting of Ministers of Finance and Governors of the Central Bank (FMCBG) was part of the 2024 G20 presidency in Brazil.
