The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has completed the construction of the Cintakarya Suspension Bridge in Cililin District, West Bandung Regency, West Java, in December 2023.
The bridge that crosses the Cigere River connects Cintakarya Village and Puncak Sari Village.
The length for the bridge reaches 40 meters (m) with a total length of short roads reaching 110 m.
"Hopefully this development can improve the economy and to improve the standard of living of the two villages," said PUPR's statement in its official Instagram upload @kemenpupr, quoted Monday, February 26.
The construction of the Cintakarya Bridge itself only takes five months.
"Now the bridge has been used by the local community as access to agricultural areas, education and for other activities," he said.

Meanwhile, one resident named Riki Hardian said, before there was the bridge, the local community had to go around first to go to other villages.
"But thank God, since the existence of this (bridge) we have been helped, that's it, for the general public. Hopefully, this bridge will be more useful for the residents and the community," he added.
