BLT Mitigation Of Food Risks Of Rp600 Thousand Has Not Disbursed, This Is What Coordinating Minister Airlangga Said

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto conveyed that Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) mitigating food risk of Rp600 thousand is in the process of disbursement.

"We hope that the distribution will still require budgeting at the Ministry of Social Affairs and then contract with PT Pos," Airlangga told the media crew, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 16, 2024.

According to Airlangga, the distribution through PT Pos is cheaper than through Himbara.

As for the announcement, BLT has not been accepted by people in need. Airlangga ensured that BLT had nothing to do with general elections (elections).

"It keeps going, there is no connection with the election," he said.

When asked whether the distribution of the BLT of Rp600 thousand could be done this week, Airlangga said that this week it was time to monitor the results of the 2024 General Elections Commission (KPU).

"This week we are waiting for the results of the KPU first. So we just take it easy first," he said

Airlangga menyampaikan penyaluran BLT akan dirapel selama 3 bulan atau diberikan sekaligus sebesar Rp600 ribu yang rencananya pada Februari 2024.

"Diraped because we have a census for extreme poverty, the target is 0, so don't let the momentum or cycle pass," said Airlangga.

For information, the Food Mitigation BLT program budget is IDR 11.25 trillion with a target of 18.8 million Beneficiary Families (KPM).
