Wijaya Karya Working On The IKN Toll Road Project Of IDR 1.2 Trillion, Targeted To Be Completed In 2025

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) is ready to build the Toll Road for the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) Section 3B-2: KKT Segment Kariangau-Sp.Tempadung with a project portion value of IDR 1.2 trillion.

For your information, in the construction of the IKN Access Toll Road project, WIKA is part of the operational cooperation (KSO) together with PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama Tbk (JKON) and PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP).

WIKA President Director Agung Budi Waskito said that the construction of the IKN toll road project Section 3B-2 of the KKT KKT Kariangau-Sp.Tempadung is targeted to last until June 2025.

In line with this, WIKA is optimistic that the construction of the project can take place at the same time so that it can be completed on time with good quality.

In addition, Agung said that the acquisition of a new contract for the IKN Toll Road Project Section 3B-2 of the KKT Kariangau-Sp Segment. Tempadung also shows the trust and support that stakeholders continue to provide.

"Similarly, the support for bank guarantee ceilings as stated in the Master Restructuring Agreement (MRA) between WIKA and financial institutions has opened wider space for the company to pursue the acquisition of new contracts in 2024," he said in a written statement, quoted Monday, February 12.

The IKN Section 3B-2 KKT Kariangau-Sp Toll Road project is located on the 7.3 kilometer (km) toll road section of Section 3B which will later be the link between the IKN Section 3B Toll Road main road and Jalan Kariangau.

This Toll Road Package aims to support and improve connectivity in the East Kalimantan region, especially from and to the IKN area. This toll road will also have two special animal bridges in the area.
