Regarding Ahok's Substitute As Pertamina's Commissioner, Deputy Minister Of SOEs: Again Considered

Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo opened his voice about who is the replacement for Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok as the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero).

"Not yet (there), not yet, again think about (who is the successor)," he said when met at the Kemenko Marves Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 7.

As is known, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok decided to resign from the position of President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero). Ahok chose to leave the position in order to focus on winning candidate pairs (paslon) number three, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, in the 2024 presidential election.

Ahok admitted that he had sent his resignation letter to the Ministry of SOEs. This letter was signed by Ahok on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Previously, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir, opened his voice regarding the resignation of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok from the position of President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero). Erick said that it was Ahok's choice.

Erick also said that Ahok had been contacted regarding his decision to resign from his position at Pertamina.

"Yes, Mr. Ahok contacted me that he wanted to join of course Ganjar-Mahfud, that's an option. We are a democratic country," he told reporters on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Regarding Ahok's replacement, Erick said that his party would look for a good person to be trusted to occupy the position left by Ahok.

"Mr. Ahok's replacement hasn't been (there) yet, it's only yesterday. Yes, we'll look for a good one later," he said.
