PLN IP Greennesia Project Will Build EBT Generation With A Total Of 1.06 GW

PT PLN Indonesia Power (IP) will start pioneering the construction of the Greennesia Project this year by building a new renewable energy plant (EBT) with a total capacity of 1.06 Gigawatts.

PLN IP Director of Business and Commerce Development Bernadus Sudarmanta targets that by the end of 2024 his party can execute the generator with a capacity of 500 MW in 5 locations.

He detailed that of the 1.06 GWs, 1 GW came from Solar Power Plants (PLTS) while 60 MW came from wind turbines. For PLTS, three PLTS will be in the form of floating PLTS and the other two are land based, while the remaining 500 MW will be processed.
