Present At Prabowo Campaign, Erick Thohir Leaves As Minister Of SOEs

JAKARTA - Erick Thohir attended the campaign for Presidential Candidate (Capres) number 02, Prabowo Subianto.

Erick Thohir's presence in the campaign was not as Minister of SOEs. He said he had applied for leave for today.

The campaign was carried out at the Erick Thohir (OjoLET) Ojol Fan Ojol Community event which was held at Banteng Field, Central Jakarta.

"White, there is a letter of leave," said Erick to the media crew at Banteng Square, Central Jakarta, Friday, January 19.

Erick said the ojol community initiated to hold a declaration of support for Presidential Candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto.

He said the ojol hoped that leaders could provide a good future for them.

"So, of course today Mr. Prabowo, these ojol friends want to entrust their hopes to Mr., the hope of the future of ojol friends. Because we know Pak Prabowo is a leader who can keep his promises, a wise President," said Erick.

Meanwhile, Tsamara Amany explained, Erick Thohir only applied for leave for just one day. The leave was specifically submitted to attend the event.

Tsamara said Erick's presence was to express support for Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election, together with the OjoleT Community.

"Because in this activity, Mr. Erick supports Pak Prabowo. So we can't work," said Tsamara.

Tamara also admitted that she was on leave as a Special Staff to the Minister of SOEs for public policy. Leave is submitted to attend the campaign event.

"White, so present as a person, has nothing to do with the government. Everyone here is present as a person. In the context of supporting, you are not as a minister," said Tsamara.
