"Today we inaugurate three modern TPAs in East Java Province that will help with waste problems, namely in Malang City, in Sidoarjo Regency and Jombang Regency. I hope that the operation of this TPA can reduce waste problems and reduce environmental pollution, and improve environmental quality, as well as public health," said Indonesian President Joko Widodo when inaugurating the event.

President Director of PTPP Novel Arsyad said that his party is grateful that the Supit Urang TPA project in Malang City and the Jabon TPA in Sidoarjo Regency has been completed, useful and inaugurated directly by President Joko Widodo.

"The operation of waste TPA uses technology from Germany with the process of sorting, posting, and sanitary landfills, as well as a water lindi treatment system that will minimize the impact of pollution of water, soil, and air so that it is environmentally friendly," said Novel.

In addition to the Supit Urang TPA and the Jabon TPA, PTPP has also completed the TPA Sampah Talang Gulo project in Jambi City.

"By completing several TPA projects, it proves that PTPP is competent in the Waste Processing Infrastructure Development sector and we are optimistic that it can work on similar projects in the future to be able to help overcome waste management problems in Indonesia," explained Novel.
