Sido Muncul Gives Free Operations For 32 Cleft Lip Patients In Semarang

JAKARTA - In collaboration with the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Advocate Federation of the Republic of Indonesia, Central Java Province, Sunday, December 10, PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) again held a free lip-climbing operation for 32 lip-cambing sufferers at Permata Sari Main Clinic, Semarang.

Assistance worth Rp. 300 million, symbolically will be handed over to Prof. DR. Liliana Tedjosaputro, SH, MH. MM. PIC of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Advocates Federation of the Republic of Indonesia of Central Java Province by Mia Maharani Purbaningrum, Junior Public Relations Manager of Sido Muncul.

Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat, said that this assistance was intended to ease the burden on parents whose children experienced lip-climbing.

"We can feel that children who suffer from cleft lip have difficulty eating and are not confident in their appearance. Therefore, today we again provided free lipbing surgery assistance for 32 patients in Semarang," said Irwan Hidayat.

"This assistance provided is part of Sido Muncul's efforts to contribute to health problems in Indonesia. We hope that this lip-capped operation social service can inspire various parties to participate in organizing the same activity, because the number of lip-capped sufferers in Indonesia is still high. The more it is held, hopefully more and more people can be treated," continued Irwan.

Free lip-cleft operating assistance has been carried out by Sido Muncul since 2018. It was the first time it was carried out in Kupang. Assistance has been carried out in various parts of Indonesia. The total number of patients who have been operated to date is 481 patients.
