Utomodeck Group-Haleyora Develops Energy Infrastructure And Clean Mobility

JAKARTA - Extreme climate change is an increasingly urgent issue to deal with. The government, the private sector, and citizens are also required to contribute to reduce emissions.

Utomodeck Group, as a company that upholds the principle of sustainability through its business lines, namely Utomo Solaruv and Utomo Chargeplus, has entered into a strategic partnership with a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero), namely PT Malinora Power, related to the Inclusive Operation and Maintenance (OnM) Cooperation Plan for Solar Power Plants (PLTS) and the Development of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in Indonesia.

The signing of this inclusive cooperation was attended by Anthony Utomo as Managing Director of the Utomodeck Group and Diksi Erfani Umar as Director of Operations for PT Malinora Power, in Jakarta, November 29.

"Energy issues are the main theme in COP 28 this year, so it is hoped that we can provide information related to real actions carried out by Indonesia. Therefore, the development of energy infrastructure and clean mobility is an action that Utomodeck Group continues to encourage to contribute to the fight against the climate crisis. The momentum of COP 28 is also right to encourage more and more private parties to decarbonize their industries," said Anthony Utomo, quoted on Friday, December 1.

The Utomodeck group itself is a technology enabler in the field of sustainable business solutions with the SPKLU development business unit through Utomo Chargeplus, OnM PLTS through Utomo SolaruV and Floating PLTS producers which will be produced in Indonesia to support Indonesia's clean energy transition.

Indonesia itself has a net-zero emission target in 2060 or sooner. The strategic map towards this target has received support from business actors, as evidenced by the increasing number of domestic corporations that install PLTS which contributes greatly to the reduction in emissions produced by its business units.

"This needs to be supported by a qualified operation and maintenance (OnM) service on a regular basis so that the quality is maintained," explained Diksi, Director of Operations Lidiara Power.

In addition to PLTS, Utomodeck Group and PT Malinora Power are also focused on developing a clean mobility infrastructure in the form of SPKLU.

The increasing trend of electric vehicles due to the increasing public awareness of the climate crisis has prompted even more massive SPKLU procurement efforts.

The Utomodeck Group business line, namely Utomo Chargeplus, has the latest technology in the form of an ultra-fast ev charging device type Inferno which is predicted to have the ability to charge lightning starting from 20 minutes.

This SPKLU technology is suitable for office areas, apartments, shopping centers, and other public spaces.

'SPKLU is an important instrument in accelerating clean mobility. Currently, the condition of electric vehicles is booming, but SPKLU is still very limited. If it is not resolved immediately, electric vehicle enthusiasts can be stuck and even decrease. Inclusive cooperation with Votora will certainly provide certainty and convenience in installing SPKLU and can help invite private agencies and the community to become their SPKLU providers," added Anthony.

For PT Malinora Power itself, this collaboration is a commitment of all PLN entities to be actively involved in the energy transition agenda in Indonesia.

The collaboration between Utomodeck Group and PT Malinora Power is clearly a breath of fresh air for business actors who will start decarbonization steps through 2 concrete actions, OnM PLTS as well as SPKLU in each business unit.
