JAKARTA BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (BRIDS) through the BRIDS Peduli Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program collaborated with the Salemba Empat Work Foundation (KSE) to provide scholarships of around Rp. 145 million to 15 outstanding State Universities (PTN) students with economic limitations in several cities throughout Indonesia.

BRIDS President Director Laksono Widodo revealed that the company always plays an active role in giving meaning to Indonesia, one of which is by providing opportunities for the younger generation to get the highest education, in order to become the leader of Indonesia in the future.

"We believe that education is the largest investment to increase human resources and also support the development of the nation. Through this program, we hope to create an outstanding and superior nation's children, who can have a positive influence on Indonesia's progress," said Laksono in his official statement, Friday, November 24.

Laksono added that this program is also the Company's commitment to supporting the implementation of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles carried by the Government, to achieve sustainable development.

The Executive Chairperson of the KSE Foundation Marsanggap P. Tamba said that the support from BRIDS contributed to the total scholarships that had been provided by KSE in the 2023 2024 academic year as many as 1,777 students, and hoped to provide scholarships to up to 10,000 students in the future.

Marsanggap added that BRIDS' contribution as donors played a major role in giving student recipients hope in preparing themselves to achieve the future.

"We would like to thank you very much for the synergy established with BRIDS in supporting the continuity of the studies of outstanding students who are experiencing economic difficulties. We hope that BRIDS will always work with us, in order to realize a common vision to educate the nation's life," explained Marsanggap.

Student of the Faculty of Economics & Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta Rahma Dwi Prastika as one of the scholarship recipients of the BRIDS Care program said that he got a lot of benefits from this scholarship, such as to finance my daily needs, gain various experiences from activities organized by the Foundation, and get relations from various universities throughout the archipelago.
