Viral On Social Media, Free Tickets For Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Trains Are Sold, Here's KCIC's Response

JAKARTA - Free tickets for the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) provided for the public are resold by irresponsible okum which has gone viral on social media.

In fact, this free ticket is provided so that people can experience the ride of KCJB.

This free test ticket for this high-speed train is sold on social media X, by an account called @newcastleINA. He sells tickets at a price of IDR 50,000.

"Sell fast train test tickets for the Tegalluar-Halim route. It's sold because you can't get a Tike to Bandung. You can use the ticket change feature for the passenger replacement. Just 50k fee," he wrote, quoted by VOI, Monday, October 9.

Responding to this, the Corporate Secretary of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) Eva Chairunisa said, during the trial period the flight experience ticket was still free.

Tickets can only be obtained through the official ticket.kcic.co.id website.

During the ramp-up experience, there were no paid tickets. So from October 3 to 16, there will be no paid tikers," he told reporters at Tegalluar Station, Bandung Regency, Monday, October 9.

Eva asked people who know information about free tickets for high-speed trains that are traded to report to PT KCIC.

"We ask the public to immediately report it to us (PT KCIC), later we will follow up," he explained.

His party will take legal action if it is proven that there are people who sell free tickets during the rapid train trial period.

"Of course, they will report legally if they can get the perpetrator. Because there is no paid high-speed ticket during theASH Experience period," he said.
