JAKARTA - Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Bambang Susantono revealed that the revision of the State Capital (IKN) law (UU) could be a breakthrough in the implementation of balanced housing at IKN Nusantara.

"God willing, it can be a breakthrough (a balanced residence)," said Bambang, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, October 3.

Bambang said that OIKN only needs to carry out the implementation of balanced housing at IKN Nusantara.

"It's just a matter of implementation," he said.

For information, the implementation of balanced housing is one of the nine main amendments to Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital.

OIKN is obliged to provide housing in IKN Nusantara, and this residence is possible for the IKN population which can continue to increase every year.

In the revision of the IKN Law, an article that regulates the specific implementation of housing, namely balanced housing which in essence, in order to fulfill the obligations of balanced housing by the housing developer outside IKN, can fulfill the obligations of balanced housing within IKN within a certain period and the form determined by OIKN by taking into account the Detailed Spatial Plan of IKN Nusantara.

In addition, in the context of accelerating the provision of balanced housing at IKN Nusantara, it is allowed or allowed by the Head of OIKN to apply for the use of balanced housing conversion funds to ministers who organize government affairs in the field of public housing.

The balanced housing policy is a policy that requires legal entities that carry out housing development (housing developers) to develop housing or residential areas with a balanced composition between luxury, medium and simple homes with a pattern of construction of 1 luxury house must be balanced with the construction of 2 medium houses and the construction of 3 simple houses or 1:2:3.
