Bahlil Says Pakuwon Will Groundbreaking At IKN November 2023

JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia said the next investor who will groundbreaking in the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara, East Kalimantan is PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON).

"Yes (Pakuwon Jati) is one of them," he said at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, written Tuesday, October 3.

According to Bahlil, this groundbreaking will be carried out in November 2023. However, he admitted that he would report to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) first.

"Later November, I will report to the President first," he said.

For your information, phase II private investment in IKN is scheduled for groundbreaking in November 2023. The business groups participating are Pakuwon Group, Vasanta Group, Jambuluwuk, and Jakarta International School.

Previously, at IKN, an Abdi Waluyo hospital was also built. This private project has held a Groundbreaking on Friday, September 22, 2023.

The hospital became the first hospital in IKN. Meanwhile, the investment value of Abdi Waluyo Hospital alone reached IDR 2 trillion with various facilities including hundreds of rooms.

In the early stages, the hospital will be built on an area of 5,000 square meters with 5 floors.

In addition, in the future, Abdi Waluyo Hospital will also support all programs for Indonesian athletes.

President Jokowi has also carried out the groundbreaking of the National Training Center for the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) on Friday, September 22, 2023.

He assessed that the Training Center at IKN is part of the nation's investment towards the achievements of the Indonesian national team.

"I am sure, I am optimistic that we will be able to bring and witness our Garuda, our national team will not only win in Southeast Asia, but will soon be worldwide," said Jokowi in the Groundbreaking National Training Center IKN agenda which was broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube in Jakarta, Friday quoted from Antara.

The National Training Center in IKN was established on an area of 34.5 hectares with eight fields and various other supporting facilities integrated with IKN development.
