Net TV Management Explains The Cause Of Layoffs Of 30 Percent Employees

JAKARTA - PT Net Visi Media Tbk announced that the company had terminated employment (PHK) to 30 percent of its total employees.

In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), management said that the company was making adjustments and evaluations that had an impact on reducing employees.

"The company is currently making adjustments and evaluations, one of which is that human resource management is carried out by downsizing around 30 percent of employees," wrote the management quoted on Friday, September 15.

Management said the decision was the impact of government policies in the form of transfer regulations from analog technology-based broadcasts to broadcasts based on terrestrial digital technology that reduce human resource needs in related work lines and opportunities for efficiency in certain work lines.
