SOE Minister When Trying Fast Train With Jokowi: Comfortable And Safe

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir participated in testing the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) together with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) today. He felt that this mode of transportation could be a solution to congestion towards the City of Flowers.

The reason, continued Erick, is that the first mode of transportation in Indonesia has a high speed, so the travel time to get to the city of Bandung is much faster than using a private car.

"Departing in the morning, eh to Bandung is still early. Anti traffic jams and slips," Erick wrote on his official Instagram account @erickthohir, quoted Wednesday, September 13.

The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) is operated at high speeds of up to 351 km per hour, Erick ensures that this mode of transportation is safe and comfortable.

"Although the speed of the high-speed train reaches 351 km per hour, it remains comfortable and safe inside," said Erick.

As is known, President Jokowi tried the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) together with the ministers today.

Jokowi started the journey from Halim Station to Padang Station.

Not only testing the Jakarta Bandung high-speed train, but Jokowi also tried the Feeder Train from Padalarang Station to Bandung Station.

For your information, the KCJB project is one of the national strategic projects. This transportation is targeted to operate on October 1, 2023 in stages, starting from 8 trips, followed by addition to 28 trips in November, to reach 68 trips in January 2024.
