Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang Will Try The Fast Train From Halim To Karawang

JAKARTA - Chinese Prime Minister (PM) Li Qiang is scheduled to try out the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) today.

The plan is for Li Qiang to be accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

Manager of Corporate Communication of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) Emir Monti said Luhut and Li Qiang would try out the fast train from Halim Station, Jakarta.

Emir said that Li Qiang would not try it until the end of Tegalluar Station, Bandung Regency.

"So the agenda is the PM of China and Pak Luhut, and several ministerial visits. (Trialing) the fast train for the Halim to Karawang route," Emir said when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, September 6.

Furthermore, Emir said the travel time for the Fast Train from Staisun Halim to Karawang Station was 15 minutes.

Separately, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan confirmed that he would accompany Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang to try out the high-speed train today.

"This is also clear evidence of modern high-quality cooperation between the two countries," said Luhut in his official statement.
