German Sensor And Automated Company Ifm Electronic Present Successfully Making Indonesia 4.0

JAKARTA - Ifm electronic is developing its business to Indonesia. The company, which was founded in 1969 in Essen, Germany, is ready to make Indonesia 4.0's vision come true in the Indonesian industry.

Ifm electronic has been present in Indonesia through PT ifm electronic Indonesia which was founded on October 10, 2022. However, this German company began inaugurating its office located in Sentral Senayan II, Jakarta on August 3, 2023 through the Opening Office Ceremony event.

In this event, PT ifm electronic Indonesia invited their business partners and customers in Indonesia. Since the last ten months, PT ifm electronic Indonesia has prepared its new office and recruited new employees.

"The reason we chose an office in Indonesia, as President Widodo said in Hannover, is because Indonesia's vision to enter into 10 countries with the largest economies in the world," said Simon Evans, Chief Sales Officer ifm electronics, in his statement, Friday, August 4.

Evans said the presence of ifm electronic as the leader of the automation industry in Indonesia was the answer to President Joko Widodo's vision. In particular, Jakarta was chosen as the location for branch offices in Indonesia for several reasons.

First, there are more quality human resources. Second, the location of Jakarta which is close to various industries and most of the ifm electronic customers are located not far from Jakarta.

In the industrial world, ifm electronic has a variety of industrial specialtys, such as the food and beverage industry, automotive, mobile machine, water, logistics, ports, mining, and many more.

In Indonesia, ifm will focus more on the food and beverage industry as well as automotive which is considered suitable due to the large growth of the industrial market.

"We will focus on the food and beverage and automotive industry," said Evans.

In line with the vision of Making Indonesia 4.0, PT ifm electronic Indonesia plans to open branches in various parts of Indonesia in line with the company's growth.

"We see Indonesia as a large and potential market," said Jhon Afri Cryman, National Sales Manager of PT ifm electronic Indonesia.

Jhon explained, according to the motto close to you, PT ifm electronic Indonesia is trying to be as close as possible to our customers. Starting from Jakarta, Jhon added, PT ifm electronic Indonesia plans to grow in other areas, for example in East Java, Kalimantan, or also Sumatra.

In strengthening this vision, PT ifm electronic Indonesia continues to strive to find talented young people's resources.
