BP AKR Appoints Vanda Laura As President Director Of New

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Petroindo Raya (bp-AKR) has officially appointed Vanda Laura as the new President Director.

Thus, Vanda Laura replaces Peter Molloy who has entered retirement and ended more than five years of his term at bp-AKR and 33 years at the company bp.

Vanda Laura said she was honored for the trust given.

"It is an honor for me to have been trusted as President Director of bp-AKR. I am optimistic, through a strong commitment, bp-AKR will continue to develop and make a positive contribution to Indonesia's economic growth and can realize bp-AKR's ambitions," he said in a written statement received by VOI, Monday, July 10.

Meanwhile, Vice President of Mobility and Convention bp India, Indonesia and China Neale Smither welcomed Vanda's appointment. According to him, Vanda's new position is evidence of her strong performance over the years.

"The experience and insight of the fuel retail business in Indonesia will greatly help us in strengthening the existence of bp-AKR in the fuel retail market which continues to grow in Indonesia," said Neale.

The President Director of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk, Haryanto Adikoesoemo, also expressed the same thing. He said he was happy with Vanda's appointment.

"With Vanda appointed, I believe that his leadership will bring the company to achieve its ambitions in the years to come, and its dedication is a good example for the company's growth," he said.

Vanda Laura, who graduated from Colorado State University, United States in the Computer Information System, previously served as marketing director at bp-AKR.

During his role, Vanda Laura managed to encourage the growth of the bp-AKR business, and successfully launched a superior fuel bp, namely bp Ultimate in the Jabodetabek and East Java markets and introduced the Wildbean Cafe in Indonesia.

Prior to joining the bp-AKR, Vanda Laura had more than 20 years of experience in various industries and had held various strategic positions at home and abroad.

With the appointment of Vanda Laura as the new President Director, the Bp-AKR board of directors also underwent changes.
