Pegadaian And Tulungagung Regency Government Launch The Gade Integrated Farming Program

JAKARTA - Indonesia is a country with so many natural resources. This is of course a potential that can be utilized and developed by the community.

One way to do this is by managing potential areas that have fertile land. For example, rice fields or fields. Then, encourage the development of livestock resources.

Understanding the importance of natural resources and livestock in the sustainability of the country's business, PT Pegadaian together with the Tulungagung Regency Government (Pemkab), inaugurated the KUBE Production House Berkah Abadi fostered by Pegadaian, in Sendang Village, Sendang District, Tulungagung District on Tuesday 27 June. In this activity, the program The Gade Integrated Farming was also launched.

PT Pegadaian's Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) aims to help farmers or breeders in developing their business from upstream to downstream.

The inauguration of the KUBE Berkah Abadi and Kickoff Production House program The Gade Integrated Farming, was marked by a scan of the palms and video playback, followed by the signing of the inscription carried out by the Director of Networks, Operations and Sales of PT Pegadaian Eka Pebriansyah and Tulungagung Regent Maryoto Birowo.

Eka said that this program aims to help farmers create an integrated agricultural system. Namely by utilizing the linkage as an agricultural sector that can support land productivity, economic improvement and natural resource conservation.

"We hope that The Gade Integrated Farming program can be utilized optimally, so that it can bring positive benefits to the community, especially business actors in the agriculture, livestock, fisheries and plantation sectors," explained Eka, in a written statement, Wednesday, July 5.

Meanwhile, Tulungagung Regent Maryoto Birowo expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Pegadaian for choosing Tulungagung to provide assistance to business actors through The Gade Integrated Farming program at the KUBE 'Berkah Abadi' Production House.

"We thank PT Pegadaian for being willing to provide assistance and facilities for the development of farmer business groups and other groups to develop and be competitive in utilizing existing natural resources to bring benefits to the survival of many people," explained Maryoto.

In line with Maryoto, the Chairman of KUBE Berkah Abadi, Suprianto expressed his gratitude for the knowledge and assistance provided by PT Pegadaian.

"Currently, we have been provided with good organic farmer knowledge. Of course, with the results of assistance from PT Pegadaian, and it produces 6 scientific items that I think we have had enough organic farming. Hopefully in the future the Eternal Blessing Group can be a pilot or mentor to other groups, so that we can share knowledge, share benefits with fellow farmers and the community around us," said Imam.

Until now, The Gade Integrated Farming program has spread in 8 cities. These include Madiun, Tulungagung, Depok, Bogor, Bekasi, Kulonprogo, Bantul and Magelang.
