Gold Prices Rise Slightly To IDR 1,058,000 Per Gram, Silver Is Even Sluggish

JAKARTA - The gold price of PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk (Antam) has slightly increased by IDR 1,000. Today's gold price is IDR 1,058,000 per gram.

Citing data from Logammulia, Thursday, June 22, Antam's gold buyback price also rose by Rp1,000 to Rp940,000 per gram.

The price of gold at the smallest size is 0.5 grams, valued at IDR 579,000. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold bullion is priced at IDR 10,075,000.

For the gold bar size 50 grams worth IDR 50,045,000. Likewise, the size of 100 grams also experienced an increase to IDR 100,012,000.

Gold futures plunged 23.50 US dollars or 1.19 percent to 1,947.70 US dollars on Tuesday (20/6), after rising 0.50 US dollars or 0.03 percent to 1,971.20 US dollars on Friday (16/6) and boosted 1.80 US dollars or 0.09 percent to 1,970.70 US dollars on Thursday (15/6).Bursa Comex closed on Monday (19/6) for public holidays.

Gold fell when Powell began his biennial testimony for two days ahead of the House Financial Services Committee on Wednesday (21/6), adhering to the hawkish words he adopted at a post-Fed interest rate decision press conference from June 14, where the central bank halted monetary tightening for more than a year.

Meanwhile, the price of silver in Antam fell by Rp150. The price of silver is priced at Rp12,600 per gram.
