JAKARTA - The industrial revolution 4.0 has encouraged many sectors to implement digitalization, including in the logistics sector. This condition also triggered a significant increase in the use of logistics platforms under the auspices of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), namely Logee. Logee logistics platforms recorded various significant improvements thanks to various solutions offered to customers.

Telkom's Director of Digital Business, Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid, said that through Telkom's commitment to support digitization in the logistics sector by providing the best solution for customers, Logee managed to experience a brilliant increase.

"Since being born in 2020, Logee has helped implement an e-logistics system or logistics digitization to thousands of logistics stakeholders in Indonesia. Logee comes with six digital products that are all running seamless to make it easier for manufacturers, cargo owners, truck owners, to outlet owners," said Fajrin, in his statement, quoted Thursday, June 15.

Reflecting on the achievement in 2022, Telkom is optimistic that Logee will have a better performance this year. In 2022, Logee will experience an increase in the number of fleet owners joining Logee by almost 300 percent.

The owner of the truck fleet has also increased by more than 150 percent and distributors in Logee have increased by more than 160 percent. In addition, outlet owners who joined Logee in 2022 also increased by more than 780 percent compared to 2021, from thousands of outlets to more than tens of thousands of outlets. This is because outlet owners can buy products at a relatively cheaper price than buying them in wholesale stores.

Meanwhile, in terms of customers, the positive impact was also felt on the use of the Logee platform, including PT Perkebunan Nusantara 8 (PTPN VIII) which experienced an increase in orders of up to four times and had a positive impact on the company's revenue. Thanks to the use of the Logee platform, the fulfillment of orders received by PTPN VIII increased by more than 400 percent.

Thanks to Logee, PTPN VIII's fulfillment of orders has increased by more than hundreds of thousands of kilograms. Logee managed to assist PTPN VIII in regulating the distribution process of tea products through the provision of digital platforms and operating warehouse management. Not only that, Logee also helped PTPN VIII regulate the flow of entry and exit and maintain the stored tea in warehouses so that the quality of tea was maintained.

In the future, in 2023 Logee will continue to improve the platform's capabilities to help all Logee users expand its sales, and it is possible to reach the export market.

"Utilization of Logee can increase efficiency and indirectly can have a positive impact on the company's revenue. In the future, Logee will continue to create innovations to support the increased competitiveness of Indonesian products," concluded Fajrin.

As a logistics platform under Leap-Telkom Digital (Leap), the presence of Logee is one of Telkom's efforts to answer the challenges of digitalization in the logistics sector. Through Logee, Telkom hopes that digital sovereignty in Indonesia can be achieved so that it can create a more prosperous and better competitive Indonesia.
