Bank Mandiri Becomes The Best BUMN Bank Forbes Version

JAKARTA Bank Mandiri is re-entered in the World's Best Bank 2023 list released by international economic media Forbes. It was stated that the state-owned bank business entity was named the best BMRI BUMN Bank in Indonesia.

Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan Junaidi said this appreciation will further strengthen the company's role as a development agent.

"We are partners for the government to have a positive impact on the people in Indonesia through a series of initiatives in creating an inclusive Indonesia," he said in a written statement on Wednesday, June 14.

According to Darmawan, this is a separate recognition of improving performance, and optimizing services and digital transformation carried out by the company.

"This award is not the first time, because Bank Mandiri has subscribed to receiving an award from Forbes," he said.

Darmawan explained, in 2018 Bank Mandiri was included in the classification of the best workplaces in the world in 11th order according to Forbes by outperforming 1,989 other most famous companies around the world.

"Strengthened achievement shows that Bank Mandiri has strong competitiveness with other global top companies," he stressed.

For information, the rating is an analysis of Forbes and Statista on surveys of more than 48,000 customers from 32 countries. In general, underlining assessment points regarding customer trust, customer service, provisions and costs, digital services, and financial advice.

Furthermore, the state-owned bank is also one of Indonesia's commercial banks with the best achievements in Forbes Global 2000 in 2023. Bank Mandiri managed to be ranked 418, soaring 71 levels from 489 last year.
