JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk noted, as many as 154,924 vehicles returned to the Jabotabek area during the long holiday period for the Birthday of Pancasila and Vesak 2023, or to be precise on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Lisye said, for the distribution of traffic back to Jabotabek from three directions, namely the majority of 75,962 vehicles (49.0 percent) from the East (Trans Java and Bandung), 37,510 vehicles (24.2 percent) from the West (Merak), and 41,452 vehicles (26.8 percent) from the South (Puncak) direction.

As for the details of the traffic distribution, namely traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 32,274 vehicles or an increase of 11.1 percent from normal traffic.

Then, traffic returned to Jabotabek from the direction of Bandung via the Main Kalihurip GT of the Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 43,688 vehicles, an increase of 43.9 percent from normal traffic.

"There will still be an increase in traffic to Jabotabek which will be the peak of backflow. We predict around 191,919 vehicles will return to Jabotabek," said Lisye.
