BNI Develops Xpora Program To Explor Business Opportunities With Australia

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI continues to develop BNI Xpora's business program by looking for many business partnership opportunities, one of which is through exploring with the Australian market.

BNI Xpora is a portal aimed at Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who want to increase their capacity through exports.

"Through the BNI Xpora program, BNI is looking for business matching opportunities with Indonesian business actors and diaspora in Australia," said BNI Network and Services Director Ronny Venir as quoted from an official statement quoted by Antara, Thursday.

To develop BNI Xpora, Ronny Venir visited the Indonesian Ambassador office for Canberra Siswo Pramono and the Indonesian Consulate General Sidney Vedi Kurnia Buana in Australia.

BNI also socializes the ease of opening accounts online using BNI mobile banking to facilitate transactions as well as various banking products needed by Indonesian diaspora in Australia.

Ronny said BNI as a global bank from Indonesia, provided a complete solution for Indonesia's efforts to Go Global and made proactive efforts to collaborate with foreign investors to jointly develop the Indonesian economy.

"Of course Australia is one of our potential countries. Through this visit, we are trying to re-socialize our products and services to be able to help domestic business actors and investors abroad," he said.

Ronny said, in global capacity, BNI has supported international businesses with various services such as trade finance, global payment, advisory services, and optimized them with extensive international networks.

BNI has 1,350 correspondents spread across 89 countries with strategic-located branch offices that function as source of international funding.

"We are helping companies to invest and develop businesses globally. We have established international desks in Jepamg, Korea, and China, and are currently facilitating 400 foreign companies," he explained.

Ronny continued, BNI presented a BNI Diaspora savings or the name Diaspora Saving.

This is a service intended for Indonesian citizens (WNI) abroad. With Diaspora Saving, every Indonesian citizen abroad can open an online account through BNI Mobile Banking.
